Enterprise Ireland required an evaluation of its Advocates Programme which had been set up in 2014 to support clients of the Potential Exporters Division. Enterprise Ireland engaged our expertise to assess the impact of the programme in meeting key strategic objectives and make recommendations for the design of a new Programme (now known as the Business Growth Advisors) and road map to support clients of the Potential Exporters Division, to “Get Export Ready” in order to enter or develop export markets for their products and services and grow jobs in Ireland.
What we did
We used an Impact Evaluation Methodology to capture the impact of the current Advocates programme from the perspective of each of the stakeholders: Clients, Advocates and EI.
- Review of process and design of a new process to supports the implementation of EI’s Client Engagement Mode
- On-line survey
- One-to-one phone interviews with representative sample of Client survey, Face to face Interviews with Enterprise Ireland staff
- Presentation to the Senior Management Team and Board of Enterprise Ireland
What we delivered
A report on the design of a new Advocates programme which was adopted by the Potential Exporters Division, renamed the Business Growth Advisors Programme, to support the implementation of EI’s new Client Engagement Model (CEM)
