GM INNOVATIONS worked in partnership with Airfield Trust to manage and deliver the successful transition and re-opening of this unique 38acre working farm, gardens and food experience.

Through the application of innovation management and creativity techniques a wide range of customer- focussed ideas were developed, prototyped and tested by a multi-disciplinary team across farming, food, heritage and gardens. The implementation of these new ideas  attracted 100,000 visitors in the first six months since opening, a surge in Memberships and widespread demand for its education programmes.

Our unique approach to network development connected Airfield to a wide range of stakeholders from media, government departments, state gencies and key organisations in the agri-food sector. Airfield has successfully re-positioned its brand and profile as a national attraction welcoming visitors from all over the country.

GM INNOVATIONS applications included:

  • Innovation Management
  • Creativity Techniques
  • Network Development
  • Innovation Project Management
